G.N.O!

In commemoration of the long-anticipated release of the new Stephenie Meyer novel, Breaking Dawn, my girls and I had a fun, silly night out with our friends. We started with dinner at Rumbi Island Grill. There was another group at the table next to us, similarly dressed and also waiting for the party at Barnes and Noble to start.

Barnes and Noble held a mock wedding reception for "Bella" and "Edward" complete with a "best and worst bridesmaid gown competition." Hence, the above outfits!! Aren't our gowns flattering?

Here is the full-length view of me in my breath-taking confection!!

Shaunie and Marisa passing the time till midnight.

The girls and I with the "stupid, shiny volvo"

Kiersten was so excited when she finally had her hands on our copies
of the book, that she actually cried!! Yep, she's difinitely MY girl.

What we don't have a picture of is the scene at our house at 1:30 am. Picture 5 teenage girls sprawled on our sectional, all reading the same book. I was in my favorite reading chair--the recliner in the den. We had snacks, and paper bags to breathe into--in case of hypervenilation.

Now we can hardly wait for the "Twilight" movie!!!

OK... you guys are all so cute. I love all the work and effort that went into making this extra special for everyone. What a fun Mom you are.
And these pictures and this post are one more reason I am so thrilled to have girls. I cant wait to do girly stuff with them over the years.
So glad you guys had so much fun.

Bonnie, I was such a boring Mom, how did you get to
be so fun.I knew reading to you every night even when you were a baby would pay off. It's great to have friends who are so much into literature as you are. SEE YOU SOON!

Looks like somenody learned how to upload pictures on her own! :) Great post, I love the Twilight series too. I thought I was smart and pre-ordered Breaking Dawn from Amazon.com. I didn't get it until last Wed. I think I must've walked by it in the store 10 times before I finally got my copy. Lesson learned....no more pre-orders for this girl!

I'm so excited to have your blog address now. Maybe we can keep up with each other a but more!

Hugs, Natalie
